Personal data processing policy

This policy explains how MIB CODE processes the personal data it receives through this website, email and WhatsApp, in compliance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations (Decree 1074 of 2015). The Spanish version prevails.

Data we collect
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not collect sensitive data through the website.
- Data you give us when you contact us: name, email, phone number, company and the content of your message.
- Minimal technical data logged by the web server for security (IP address, date and requested page).
How we use your data
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To prepare commercial and technical proposals.
- To manage our contractual and commercial relationship with you or your organization.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Authorization
When you send your data through the contact form, you tick a box authorizing its processing for the purposes described. If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we only use your data to reply and follow up on your request.
Your rights
As the data subject, you have the right to:
- Access, update and correct your personal data.
- Request proof of the authorization you granted.
- Be informed about how your data has been used.
- File complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
- Revoke your authorization or request deletion of your data when legal principles, rights and guarantees are not respected.
- Access your personal data free of charge.
Inquiries and claims
You can exercise your rights by writing to the contact email. We answer inquiries within ten (10) business days and claims within fifteen (15) business days, extendable as provided by Law 1581 of 2012.
Security and service providers
We apply reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your data. Some providers that serve us (web hosting, email and messaging) may process data on our behalf, including outside Colombia, under confidentiality and security conditions.
To protect the contact form against automated use, we use Google reCAPTCHA. When you use it, Google receives technical information about your browser and your interaction with the checkbox, under Google's own privacy policy and terms of service.
When you submit the form, we send you an automatic email confirming that we received your request.
Retention and changes
We keep data for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described and our legal obligations. If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
